Battle of the Burbs
The Battle of the Burbs seven-part series took the Gurus on a journey through the streets of Perth on a mission to award the good, the bad and the ugly. Each week, 5 finalists would parade their gardens and compete for their slice of an amazing $100,000 worth of prizes.
Our finalists fought for the titles of Best Street, Best Suburb, Best Waterwise / Sustainable Environmental Project, Best School Garden, and of course everyone’s favourite; WA’s Worst Garden, who was awarded with a $50,000 garden renovation.
The ‘People’s Choice Award’ took this television competition to the next level, by inviting audiences to vote for their favourite garden for a chance to win a $35,000 garden makeover.
