- Red clover is a beautiful plant that you can eat the flowers and foliage off. It has many health benefits like reducing inflammation and assisting with respiratory illnesses such as asthma and whooping cough.
- If you have skin and hair disorders, you should consider adding the Red Clover leaves into salads or soups.
- Watercress is a rich antioxidant and is so easy to grow. It’s said to be good for blood health and its peppery flavour is great in salads and soups.
- Watercress will grow well in soil, or in a water garden.
- Dandelion has become the fad go-to detox herb with both flowers and foliage great in a tea.
- Planting a few different plants into one pot will stimulate strong active growth due to the competition.
- Peppermint will cascade over the edge of your pot. Peppermint is antibacterial, great for bad breath, is said to improve concentration and it also improves digestion.
- Globe artichokes love a bright sunny position. They are stunning architectural plants, and their flowers taste great in soups or roasted.
- Artichokes are incredibly good for you. They provide a rich source of antioxidants.
