- The Grevillea breeding program at Kings Park has been successful in releasing many successful new varieties that are suitable for either pots, in ground, sandy soil or heavier soils.
- Tangerine Dream is a compact small grower 1m x1m perfect for small gardens with bright orange flowers all year round.
- Kimberley Moon is a strong grower and can be trimmed to a small tree to 2.5m or kept as a bush shrub, stunning foliage with orange flowers that are covered on the plant all year round.
- Outback Sunrise Flowers prolifically with contrasting yellow and red flowers.
- Gelato Dream is perfect for a pot with two toned peach, lemon flowers.
- When it comes to pruning grevilleas, the ideal time is after the flush of flowers in spring.
- Tip pruning will keep them bushy and can be done regularly. If you want to retain some of these plants as cut flowers, grab the secateurs; they will last in a vase for a few days.
- All native plants benefit from feeding, sprinkle a little native controlled release fertilizer around in autumn and spring.
- Grevilleas have so much to give when it comes to the garden and regardless of the size of your patch.
