Nigel is raring to go with autumnal pruning ahead of him. Geared with his new toy from Stihl, the HTA 50 hand saw, he shows you how to prune your trees with your feet firmly on the ground.

• The Stihl HTA 50 boasts a 36V AK Battery system, the first pole pruner to do so amongst its 12-tool-array. Reccomended battery is the AK 20.
• It’s low weight, making overhead use as easy as possible for all home gardeners, and is remarkably low-noise, for greater safety and surrounding awareness, and the ability to use at any time of day without disturbing your neighbours.
• The HTA 50 allows you to reach branches up to 2.8m high, and for those taller, hard-to-reach limbs, the optional extension shaft will increase the total reach to 3.3m.
• The high chain speed ensures clean, straight cuts capable of making up to 220 cuts on a single charge using the AK 30 battery.
