Trevor chats to Barry Humphris, Managing Director of Humphris Nursery and The Greenery Garden Centers, about his family business and its history.

• Established by Ern Bennet in 1879, Humphris Nursery has come a long way. Humphris Nursery has been expanded and cared for by 6 generations of the Humphris family, making it one of the oldest continuously registered wholesale nurseries in Australia.
• Humphris Nursery is located on 20 hectares in Mooroolbark, as well as 85 hectares of production growing sites throughout the regional Yarra Ranges region in Gruyere, Yellingbo, and Woori Yallock, Victoria.
• Humphris Nursery has developed to include high-quality plants for the retail trade, as well as landscapers, councils, advanced growers, and plant breeders.
• Humphris is committed to remaining at the forefront of growth amidst dynamic environmental and market conditions. Over the past few years, the company has acquired more land, upgraded facilities, and expanded its workforce to improve production outputs and adapt to the changing conditions.
