Episode: # 29 15/12/07
Presenter: Nigel Ruck
If you’ve got a slope, or somewhere in the garden that’s prone to erosion, we have some good news. New research has shown which Australian native plants are the best for preventing such problems.
Dianellas such as King Alfred and Little Jess are excellent, as too are the tough Lomandra Katrinus Deluxe, Tanika and Nyalla. King Alfred in fact strengthened the soil by a world record 752%.
The research proved these particular Dianellas & Lomandras are some of the most functional plants in the world.
Nigel looked at these plants

Katrinus Lomandra (Lomandra longifolia ‘Katrinus’)
Tanika Lomandra (Lomandra longifolia ‘Tanika’)
