Cabbages
- Don?t need to have a huge garden to grow vegetables.
- Grow cabbages; they only require 3 months of growing time and they?ll yield more edible vegetables than any other plant.
- Growing your own vegetables is a great way to save money.

- Planting trees on Northern or Western side of house will shade the house in summer.
- Deciduous trees will then allow the warm sun through in winter.
- A lot of fruit can come from just one fruit tree, so it?s worth planting just your favourite, even if you only have a small garden.
