Garden Features

  • The garden lies in one of Perth?s beachside suburbs.
  • Ana?s belief that no bare soil should be visible in a garden is evident in the abundance of foliage and flowers that have made their home in her front and back garden.
  • The back garden is an excellent example of hydrozoning. It is home to plants which require more water and thus have been clustered closely together and watered by bore water, so that the drain on scheme water is minimised. Syngonium and Flamingo flower are included in this group.
  • Her strategically placed water tank reflects and keeps alive the beauty of her garden, collecting water from the roof.
  • It is through Ana?s selection of plants, collected from cuttings far and wide, which have made this garden one of the most affordable Waterwise gardens in Perth.
