Make no mistake things are getting pretty tough out there in garden and with at least 2 months of summer still ahead it is time to batten down the hatches and get your plants through with the minimum pain using the least amount of water.

Chris’s Summer Fertilising Tips

• Traditionally we would have been told fertilise throughout summer, however that isn’t always true. Fertiliser makes plants grow and of course use more water and for many that is exactly what they don’t want at this time of the year and this can actually lead to stress and even death.
• Use Shades of Green fertilisers developed with easy to use fertiliser instructions that reflect the needs of all your types of plants and garden styles through this very tough time.
• Shades of Green fertilisers indicates, this is not the time of year to fertilise lawns, fruit trees, most natives and cottage plants. Their time will come with the first breaking rains of autumn.
