Open garden schemes are popular all over the world and here in Australia we embrace the idea. A great way to see beautiful plants, wonderful garden design and get lots of inspiration. Nige visits a beautiful garden in Perth.

  • Jane opens her low maintenance garden as a Fundraising event for the Presbyterian Ladies College.
  • Bradford pears and Crape Myrtles are used to create shade during the summer months but allow the sunlight in during the winter.
  • Bay trees are used as a hedging plant helping to create symmetrical lines.
