Neville reveals the incredible health benefits of colourful vegetables and how they’ll help him in his mission to live to 101 years of age.

  • Purple and red vegetables are very high in antioxidants, contribute to a healthy gut, and help improve overall wellbeing.
  • Red Okra is an unusual vegetable with attractive red pods that are best harvested when they’re approximately 7 to 10 cm long.
  • Purple Asparagus has a milder, sweeter taste than green asparagus. It can be eaten straight from the garden or cooked.
  • Purple and red vegetables contain potent antioxidant flavonoids that are believed to have anti-cancer properties and help prevent inflammation.
  • Asparagus is perennial, which means the tender spears will return year after year. Hence, you must not pull it out at the end of each harvest season.
  • Red Brussel Sprouts have a growing season of up to 8 months and, despite popular belief, are delicious to eat.
  • They have a milder and more nutty flavour to that of the Green Brussel Sprouts.
  • Red Brussel Sprouts are a rich source of nutrients such as vitamins A, C and K, as well as folate.
