- Burdock Root was used to fight infections, like the common cold, reduce inflammation and for its high antioxidant properties.
- Burdock grows well in a full sun position. Its roots can get up to 50cm long and are best harvested when they’re young.
- Green Artichoke has gorgeous green-grey foliage and is ideal for growing in hot conditions. Harvest the flowers before they show colour.
- Green Artichoke is one of the only foods that contains both naturally occurring pre and probiotics.
- Red Clover will grow in most areas of Australia. Regular watering when it’s being established gives it a good start.
- Historically, Red Clover has been used for asthma, whooping cough and gout. Today, its extracts are promoted for menopausal symptoms, cholesterol and osteoporosis.
