STIHL Story 2: Spring cleaning
Story: Landscape - STIHL Story 2: Spring cleaning

Air Date: 2nd September
Trevor is just as excited as anyone to test one of the most highly anticipated products in the battery-powered STIHL line, the Vacuum Shredder.
- The STIHL SHA 56 can be used both as a vacuum shredder and as a blower. This allows the user to vacuum up leaves, green cuttings and grass and then chop them into small pieces or blow larger quantities of leaves together first. In suction mode, the sturdy metal shredder turbo wheel reduces the volume of the shredded material.
- Switching between the two working workings can be done without tools, easily and quickly to ensure there is minimal disruption to the user while completing their work. The handle also rotates to guarantee user comfort no matter which mode is being used.
- The blowpipe can be adjusted in two steps to suit the size of the operator. In suction mode, the front handle and the supplied padded carrying strap ensure comfortable working. At the same time, sophisticated details guarantee that the suction tube glides more easily over hard surfaces and does not get stuck on the material to be vacuumed up.
- Its asymmetrical design increases the legroom of the user and the air sucked in is blown away from the user due to the air-permeable material on one side. A zipper with cord allows the catcher bag to be opened and emptied comfortably, even when wearing work gloves.
- While the recommended battery is the AK 20, it is actually compatible with all three batteries in the system which is handy is you already have other tools from the range such as a lawn mower, blower, scarifier or a grass trimmer – just to name a few.
