Get rid of pests in a safe way
Story: Get rid of pests in a safe way
Episode: 6
Presenter: Neville Passmore
Air Date: 12 April 2025
Protect your garden from pests like leaf miners and aphids this autumn with a safe, effective paraffin-based oil spray that coats new growth and prevents damage.
- Citrus trees are often targeted by leaf miners, a moth whose larvae burrow into young leaves, causing damage. Once visible, it's too late to control the infestation.
- Clip off affected leaves and treat new growth before it hardens, preventing further damage.
- This oil spray coats new leaves with an oily film, effectively stopping leaf miners and other pests like aphids and caterpillars. It’s safe to eat sprayed fruit or vegetables after just one day.
- Dilute the concentrate and apply with a sprayer. It’s also safe for use on indoor plants, roses, and grapevines to protect against a variety of pests.
