Neville visits one of the viewer’s garden and have a big of fun doing some propagation and potting!
- Bromeliads after flowering, the parent plant dies, but not before producing pups — baby plants that can be split off and repotted, even without roots, to grow and eventually bloom.
- Moth orchids (Phalaenopsis) can be propagated from baby shoots, while succulents like Hummingbird cactus are easily multiplied by drying cuttings for a few days before potting in a free-draining mix — no hormone needed.
- Refresh potting mix for plants like philodendrons to give them a boost and encourage new growth.
- Propagation is not just practical — it’s fun, easy, and even better when done with friends!
