Trevor’s on pest patrol this spring, with weeds, bugs, and fungi on the attack, he’s sharing smart, simple ways to fight back before the damage is done!

• Lawn weeds like bindii and broadleaf are thriving, control them with a weed ’n’ feed hose-on or use granular shaker packs around sensitive plants to avoid spray drift.
• These hungry pests are active now, use biological sprays like Success or Dipel during a few dry days to protect your plants.
• New growth attracts aphids, thrips, and mites, break their breeding cycle early with a pyrethrum and white oil spray.
• For soft weeds, Slasher (a natural plant acid) dehydrates and kills — just avoid spraying on windy days to protect nearby plants.
• Before new growth, apply lime sulfur to clean fungal spores, then follow up with Mancozeb Plus once shoots appear for strong, healthy vines.
