Hedges have many uses in your garden. They can define a space, provide windbreaks, screen your neighbors or be used as a feature plant. This week Chloe shows you another way hedges can be used - in pots!

Another Way is the Potted Way

• Hedges are a great plant to use in pots because they work well in tight spaces. They can be used for anything you're trying to hide, such as the kid's sandpit or that air-conditioning unit!
• Chloe suggests for the correct distance between each plant follow the label; however, to create a hedge try spacing them one and a half times less than the distance recommended on the label
• Having hedges planted so close together means they will fight for nutrients so it's important to dose them every month with a liquid fertiliser.
