There's nothing better then making your own pesto and these days there are so many different varieties of Basil the cooking possibilities are endless!

Basil Basics

• Lime Basil is a great variety to grow if you want to add a delicious flavor to your salads, simply pick the leaves and mix into your salad with a little white vinegar and extra virgin olive oil
• If you're a fish lover grow Lemon Basil as it is absolutely delicious when used to season a white flesh fish
• Liquorice Basil is absolutely amazing with squid and crab dishes it has a fabulous aniseed flavor that you're just going to love
