Gorgeous Scents
- There are two forms of the Fairy Magnolia's – the Blush and the Cream
- Blush is a soft pink flower with a gentle fragrance and the plant is quite literally smothered in flowers right through the late winter and spring. Every leaf axis produces a flower bud and the plant grows into a shrub 1.5 to 2 metre tall with a similar width. This means there's thousands of flowers with each flush making a spectacular display
- Cream has delicate looking bigger blooms than blush and they are gently fragrant. It produces thousands of flowers and makes a stunning feature shrub In any garden
- If you are looking for a informal hedging plant for a bright sunny position in a garden the magnolia fairy collection is the best
- As a screening plant they are hard to beat and as a formal hedge they are even better as they respond really well to trimming regularly
- The bushier they are the more flowers you get, meaning you quite literally lose your plant in flowers for several months a year
- The trick with the Fairy Magnolia's is to prune them when you first get them and plant in a rich organic soil. They prefer a slightly acid soil and regular feeding with a controlled release plant food every four months
