Heather Foord is one of the most recognized faces and admired personalities in Queensland, after having fronted Nine news for more than two decades as a news presenter.

• Graduating from the University of Queensland with a double-major in journalism, Foord’s television career began when she worked briefly as a Brisbane-based researcher on Good Morning Australia.
• In 1987, Foord joined Channel Nine Queensland as a reporter for Nine News and six months later, she was appointed to the position of weekend news presenter.
• In January 1992, Foord took on the role of co-presenting Nine’s number one-rating weeknight news service before returning to Nine News weekends, a move which provided her a unique opportunity to balance professional and personal life.
• After three and a half years, she returned to co-present the weeknight news, reading alongside long-time colleague and friend, Bruce Paige
• Heather lives on 50 acre property in the hills north of Brisbane with 2 acre garden which she loves spending every day in.
