How it Works

• Water comes out of a specific hose through tiny emitters inside the hose.
• This allows small precise amounts of water to escape.
• The water that drips out creates a small tear-drop like pattern in the soil so the moisture spreads.
• This is especially effective in clay and loamy soils.

Different Types of Drip Irrigation

Scapeline Tube (Brown)

• Used in garden beds, vegetable patches and landscapes.
• 13mm scapeline is used extensively in larger landscape areas.
• Dripper flow rate is 2.0 litres per hour at 300mm spacing.
• Maximum length is 60m.
• Use standard 13mm poly fittings.

Miniscape Tube (Brown)

• Has a smaller diameter than the other tubes.
• Perfect for pot plants, hanging baskets and garden areas around trees.
• For pot plants loop the pipe around the edge of container.
• Dripper flow rate is 1.9 litres per hour at 300m spacing.
• Maximum run length is 15m as a single connection.
• 30m run length when fed from two connection points.

Low pressure Tube (Green)

• Great if your water supply comes from a tank without a pump.
• Can be placed above ground or over mulch.
• Dripper flow rate is 8.0 litres per hour.
• Maximum run length is 50m.
• Fits standard 13mm poly fittings.

Drip Tube for Recycled Water ( Purple)

• Great for recycled water and grey water.
• Maximum run length is 50m.
• Use standard 13mm fittings.
• Dripper flow rate is 8.0 LPH at 300mm spacing.

Ezy Drip System

• Inexpensive.
• Emitters spaced 20 centimetres apart to ensure even watering.
• Regular 13mm fittings.
• Uses specific ezy drip clamps.

Drip Punch

• Punches holes in poly pipe.
• Allows 6mm drip fittings to be connected.
• Easy to use.

Drip line systems are very easy to put together. All you need is a pressure reducer and a filter which stops rubbish getting into lines and causing blockages. You can also get an automatic controller - how easy is that!

Pressure Reducer

• Comes in 13mm and 19mm.

Filter

• Designed for 13mm drip line systems.
• Especially suited for turf, agriculture and greenhouse irrigation systems.
• Have good chemical resistance needed for irrigation.
