Chinese Garden

Episode: Three
Date: 22nd March 2008
Presenter: Trevor Cochrane
Story Title: Chinese Garden

Sydney is not just the busiest and most populated city in Australia it is also home to some of the most spectacular gardens in the county. Smack bang in the middle of Sydney near Darling Harbour is one of the best kept secrets in the city ?The Chinese Friendship Garden?. Over a hectare in size the garden transcends the natural feel and landscape of traditional geography in China. It focuses on the balance of ying and yang, non manicured plants, stones, water features and waterfalls. It is a must see destination.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship is located at the southern end of Darling Harbour, near the Sydney Entertainment Centre and adjacent to Chinatown.
