If you love growing edible plants, you have to consider growing exotic fruit. There are so many amazing varieties and tastes to be experienced. Trevor engorges on some of the juiciest fruits the tropics have to offer.

Tips and Facts

• Longans are a different fruit produced atop a medium sized tree. The fruit, which is also called dragons eye is delicious and not too dissimilar to Lychee.
• If you have tried something like Sour Sop before you'll be amazed to know you could grow them at home. From the outside it's a little daunting but when you break past the skin the soft flesh inside is a mouth-watering taste sensation.
• Dragon fruit is actually a cacti that can be grown in most parts of Australia, if you don't have frost.
• There are a lot of mango varieties available including the Banana mango with its smooth juicy flesh and the most commonly grown successful variety.
