If there's one thing the last few years have taught us, it's how truly precious our finite water supplies are. Adam shows you a great way to reduce your water use in the garden even further.

Handy Facts

• Drip line irrigation may look like a normal irrigation pipe, but fitted inside the line at set spacings are little drip fittings. These slowly emit a set rate of water per hour.
• There are many advantages to using a drip system, for example water is delivered right to where you want it – the plant root zone.
• The drip system also delivers the water slowly, virtually eliminating runoff and further reducing your water consumption.
