Day 2 Saturday

It was an early start to day two as we prepared for another day full of exploration and adventure, so after we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel we left for the central wet markets, ‘Pasar Besar Melaka’. The smell really stays in your mind for a long time but it is definitely worth having a wonder through the markets to see the interesting foods on offer.

Neville met with Mushlim Musa, a former major of the Armed Forces to be shown around his garden Heliconia Gardens in Alor Gajah. Neville was blown away by the beautiful tropical plants in the garden but there is more to this garden than meets the eye, it is filled with the peace of nature.

Neville visited the Auyin Hill Resort - The Auyin Hill Resort is the first and only resort constructed based on the philosophy of "feng shui". There is a fascinating garden based on Chinese mythologies and legends with spectacular gateways and pavilions.
