Our Itinerary…

Day 5 Tuesday

After breakfast at the beautiful Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, it was time for another day of filming on the amazing Island of Penang.

We all visited the Penang Butterfly Farm, which by the way should really be on your list of things to do when you visit Penang! It is such a spectacular place full of tropical butterflies that have originated from the rainforests.

Then it was off to the tropical fruit farm in the highlands where most of Penang’s fresh produce comes from. We didn’t just get to try some of the world’s most exotic fruits and there are a lot of them, the view from up there is breath taking!

In the evening Paul set off to have a go at something you just can’t do back home in Australia.

By day a beautiful beach and by night a hustling market! The Ferringhi night markets become a vibrant night spot once the sun sets and the markets and food halls come to life!
It is the perfect place to try your skills of haggling, good luck. For Paul it was a first time haggler experience, and an experience it was!
