Yates Zero

Weeds are one of gardening chores that no-one really likes and quite frankly they are a pain in the neck, not to mention your back, if you are bending over pulling the them out.

A far quicker and easier way to deal with weeds is to spray them with Yates Zero Once a Year Weed Gun.

Weeds will always find their way onto your property through various ways such as wind dispersal, soles of shoes, imported garden products and animal manure to name just a few. It is an on going battle which must be won.

The way to apply Zero is to spray the foliage until just it is just wet on a day with no imminent rain for at least six hours. Wind can cause the spray to drift onto desirable plants resulting in unwanted damage or death so best to choose a calm day. Take great care also when spraying in and around your good plants, using a protective shield is a good idea.

The active ingredient in Zero is Glyphosate, a non selective herbicide that travels through the plant killing all parts, roots included. It is also non residual, which means it is not active in the soil itself, and safe for surrounding plants and future planting.

Apart from the garden it does the job on those annoying weeds in paths, driveways and other paved areas, the last place you want weeds growing.

It comes in an easy to use trigger pack, and when you run out, which you will do, you can get the refill pack. Health and safety are always at the top of the list so wear gloves and read the instructions before use, and always wash your hands afterwards.

Remember weeds…you have got to get rid of them.
