Garden Magic
Episode: #18 18/8/07
Presenter: Dean Boone
With the recent rains in Sydney it seems like everyone is getting back into their garden. Dean suggests that you make a real day of it and one of the best places to visit is at Garden Magic....it is full of great gardening products, loads of plants and plenty of home wares.
As you would expect, right on the edge of spring, the nursery is absolutely bursting with colour, they have everything that you will need for your garden plus Dean said that he is sure you will find a few wonders that you had not thought of but will just have to have.
Take this for example; there is still time to be planting your favourite bare rooted trees. These are of course all from the Flemings range and something very unique in the Macarthur area. You will need to hurry as they are only available for a limited time but, the Garden Gurus have been told that for the next 2 weeks you can get a 25% discount off the whole range.
To get you started you can source all the best quality bulk landscape supplies, all the garden mixes are Australian Standard Certified, then they have pots, rocks, water features and all the little bits in between.
Now if you are not much of a gardener, that is no excuse for not having a great garden and Garden Magic, offers a complete Garden Design and Landscape Construction service. They can do it all for you right from beginning to end, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the end results.
Speaking of which, Garden Magic has its owned fully licensed restaurant – this is a place Dean has dined at before and has said that the food is spot on. Bale the Pavilion is huge with the flavours of south-east Asia and some strong influences from Bali.
Check out the daily specials, Dean would definitely recommends the chicken curry.
On your way out make take a wander in the Gift & Home wares department. There is a huge range and just about something for everyone.
Well Garden Magic certainly seems like more than just a garden centre, it is a great place to find that something special for your home, inside or out. The food is incredible, unfortunately in the show Dean had only just been able to show you some of what is on offer in this huge store. Getting back into gardening is not all about getting your hands dirty it is also about experiencing a great place, a place like Garden Magic.
