Dean Herald, of Rolling Stone Landscapes, is respected right around the world in the garden industry. He has been designing award winning landscapes for many years, including one in England that now has the Queen as his personal fan. Dean won the gold medal for the best design at the Chelsea Flower show in 2006.

Deans garden is all about ‘resort style living’. The outdoor entertaining area nestled alongside the sprawling pool has all you would ever need with couches, dining, televisions, a fire place and even a kitchen. It is the perfect place to relax.

The incredible glass spa works to great effect looking like an ice-cube of water just floating in the pool.

Dean admits that his garden is of a grand scale but that it is not hard to take elements of it and apply them to any backyard.

In 14 years Dean has achieved some amazing things, not just with the gardens he has built for people but also multiple award winning display gardens.

There have been 6 show gardens in the last 5 years and have also won 6 gold medals in a row. A massive achievement by Dean and the strong team that works behind him.

For a young man he has already achieved so much but on top of everything Dean has just written an inspirational new book called ‘Resort Style Living’.

This term refers to functionality in the garden and making it a place that people feel comfortable. The outdoor lifestyle is not a trend but more of a realisation that we have a culture and a climate that embraces outdoor living.

Dean’s book tries to take this to a while new level with pictures of all different peoples exclusive properties that you normally wouldn’t get to see. It also includes the garden shows they have done over the past few years, including exclusive pictures of the Chelsea Flower Show garden.
