If you are in the market for paving, whether you have a new garden or revamping an old one you need to know that the paving you select is going to stand the test of time, and look just as good in 10 years time as it did the day its laid.
It is for this reason that companies such as Outdoor Furniture Specialists used the Atlas Paving Coastal creations paver to pave their showroom. They have used the Coral Slate paver in the entire showroom and it makes every outdoor setting look brilliant and many of their customers are hoping to create this effect in their own backyard.
The coastal range of pavers is available in charcoal, sunset or beach colours and the indents remind you of the look of a coral reef, hence the name.
When establishing your new garden a great way to minimise the amount of water you use in the garden is to reduce the size of the garden beds at the design stage. This way you get the best of both worlds, some fantastic garden beds which you can plant up with your favourite drought hardy plants and increase the functional paved areas.
If you looking for something different which will give the look of natural stone try the new range of Atlas pavers called Travertine. The travertine pavers have been moulded on real travertine and it’s the secret as to why they look so natural. They give the wow factor at only about one third of the price of real stone.
One of the tricky aspects of landscaping in small areas is often the unusual shapes of the areas to be paved, this usually involves huge amounts of cutting, so both these reconstituted pavers are available in different sizes and there is sure to be a size that suits the type of design you require. Matching bull-noses are available, so if you have a pool area you can pave right up to the edge.
