There is nothing worse than an axe with a head that slips. Fiskars Axe has got it all sorted with a handle that is moulded around the head so it is not going to go anywhere. The handle is made from a combination of fibreglass and nylon, which makes it super strong and super light. Most of the weight is in the head which makes it easy to swing, so you can do some wood splitting with less effort.
Do not throw away the packaging because it doubles as a storage unit so you can store it away safely. To keep the blade nice and sharp you will need a Fiskars Axe Sharpener. It has a ceramic wheel inside here that does all the work. All you have to do is simply move the blade back and forth. You even can use it to sharpen your kitchen knives too, but for that purpose use it in the one direction.
Secateurs are a gardener’s best friend. They are a tool that you use all the time so make sure you look out for the Fiskars model with a roll handle. It uses a whole hand action, so it takes the pressure off your thumb, great for arthritis sufferers and perfect if you just want to make pruning easier.
