Explore one of Australia’s largest and most famous gardens, with over 12 hectares of Camellias and other heavenly flowers and trees. Take a free tour of the garden, enjoy the many sculptures, relax and have a picnic, learn how to grow Camellias and buy a range of plants at garden prices!

Featured Plant - Swamp Cypress (Taxodium distichum)
- Found in the South East from the USA to Guatemala in swampy forests or by river margins
- Upright, semi evergreen trees consisting of two species
- Develop spreading branches that have feather like leaves which turn a copper brown and fall in Autumn
- Characterized by its aerial roots which grow out from under the soil commonly known as knees
- It thrives in full sun and boggy soil, it will even grow in shallow water and normal well drained soil that is sufficiently deep and moist
