Garden Features
- This garden is unique as it sits on the back of a sand dune. Therefore, it is important to break the wind so a number of screening plants have been grown to screen the effects of the ocean and create a stunning effect.
- Louisa has created an Asian resort feel to the garden with bamboo and palms, water features, statues and a Bali Pavilion. She visits Bali once a year and derives a lot inspiration from there.
- The garden is divided into two levels. The upper level has an outdoor living area and Bali hut and on the lower level is a swimming pool. A rockery separates the levels nicely.
- Some of the plants grown include the New Zealand Christmas tree which has beautiful orange flowers and the angel trumpet which is best grown in afternoon shade.
- Indulge in the beautiful tropical water features displayed through the gardens.
- Find stunning bowls filled with water lilies throughout the gardens with pond fish to keep the mosquitos away.
- Other water wise plants featured in this garden are, Indian Hawthorns, Seaside Daisies and Yucca Silver Edge.
