• When building a retaining wall to house your herbs and vegies, make it slightly wider so it can also be utilised as seating for guests.
• Put your most used herbs and vegies in the alfresco area so that when you're cooking you don't need to excuse yourself from the great conversation you're having with friends.
• You don't need to spend a small fortune on a pizza oven; shop around and even look into building one yourself.
