• 39 internationally acclaimed designers from across the world including the USA, UK, New Zealand and Australia as well as some talented local Singaporean designers have contributed to this years show
• Andrew Seccull is an Australian designer who won gold at the show for his fantasy inspired garden.
• Andy Ellis and Danny Kamo are two New Zealand designers who created a garden to commemorate the Christchurch Earthquake, the boulders were created by the same special effects company used for the Lord of the Rings trilogy
• The Singapore Garden Festival is held once every 2 years and is another seriously good reason to travel to the warmer climate of the equator in the middle of the southern hemisphere winter.
• Over its 8 days it gets 300,000 visitors including 100,000 overseas visitors. The next one in 2014 is already being planned and its well worth considering visiting
