Trevor visits a community garden that is educating locals on recycling, growing food at home and conserving water.

Joondanna Community Garden

• The garden was started in 2009 and is run by interested local residents
• It's developed to include 25 individual garden plots, a central mandala garden, a vine trellis, a herb garden, bush tucker and a fruit tree walk
• It costs $20 to join the garden and $100 for the year to have a plot which includes soil, drip line and water
• The garden has a huge worm farm which quickly devours compost
