Trevor has featured his home aquaponics system before but he has recently reset the system up in his glasshouse. Having the system in a glasshouse allows the benefits of the warmer climate, allowing growth for tropical plants and tropical fish all year round.

• The warmer climate allows growing of fresh water fish, fresh water mussels or even crustaceans!
• Plants alone can purely work as your Filtration system, although some people do use mechanical filters.
• You can grow almost anything in this system from the popular vegies to fruit such as paw paws.
• A typical Aquaponic system will cost around $2000 to set up. It can produce close to that in fresh fish in the first year.
