Last time you saw Mel’s garden the structure of the garden was there - the deck, screens, fire pit and outdoor entertaining areas. Now the guys from the Garden Company have started on the planting. Check out what Mel has growing in her garden.

Euphorbia ‘Craigieburn’
Year round ornamental foliage of deep plum colour accented by red tips of new growth.

  • Can tolerate very dry conditions.
  • Easy and fast growing for quick results.
  • Sprays of vibrant, lime green flowers are produced throughout the warmer months.

Mother and Daughter Rose

  • Huge soft-sulphur yellow double blooms open to a mass of petals in a quartered old-world shape.
  • Perfume, a must in a rose and Mother and Daughter has this in abundance!
  • An excellent cut flower. This rose has long sturdy stems and flowers last 5 to 6 days in a vase.
  • Hardy and disease tolerant Mother and Daughter™ has thick leathery leaves, very resistant to both black spot and mildew.

Loropetalum ‘Plum Gorgeous’

  • Deepest, darkest coloured foliage found amongst Loropetalums - retaining colour year round
  • Vivid deep raspberry coloured, tasseled flowers during spring and autumn
  • Maintains a naturally dense, domed habit

Teucrium  ‘Silver n Sapphires’

  • Ornamental, silvery foliage year round.
  • Deep, true blue flowers from autumn through to late spring (deeper in colour than others).
  • Very hardy and dry tolerant shrub once established
  • Responds well to clipping for hedging.

Tulbaghia ‘Milky Way’ border

  • Very hardy, clump forming perennials
  • Fine, grass-like foliage is evergreen and ornamental year round
  • Long flowering - from spring through to late winter
  • Low water requirements
