Troforte® Roses, Azaleas, and Camellias will continually enrich your soil and make maintaining your prized garden a breeze.

  • While they are not related, both azaleas and camellias share a common requirement of acidic soils. Acid-reacting soils often occur in mountainous areas as well as in wetlands. For both of these large families of wonderful flowering shrubs to succeed in our gardens, it's important to give them the right root environment.
  • The first step is to use specific azalea camellia potting mixes, in pots or even when planting in the ground.
  • The second step is to regularly feed your plants with an acid-rich fertiliser, such as the Troforte M Roses, Azaleas and Camellias formula. This gets growth moving, and this ultimately will deliver flowers for next year.
  • What makes this fertiliser special is the biology, which is contained in each prill, which consists of microbes selected to enhance soil health by working with the organisms that live in soil.
  • To protect the biology, it’s a good practice to either lightly incorporate into the soil or cover with mulch.
  • Don’t forget to water your plants thoroughly to activate this beneficial life within the fertiliser.
