- Caterpillars can be notorious for eating leaves as they try to get enough nutrients to become butterflies. To cope with them, manually collect the caterpillar and move them to a place you don’t mind them feeding on in the garden.
- If the Caterpillars are uncontrollable, use a biological control spray. The oldest fashioned is called DiPel and the more recent product called Success.
- Both products use a bacterial combination that is digested by the insect and disrupts their digestive processes, stopping them from eating your plants.
- To control weeds, use a spray Weed ‘n’ Feed. This will knock a lot of the annual varieties out. There are selective sprays for Bindii and Winter Grass.
- Cultivation can be used to combat weeds as they will be turned into the topsoil and become green mulch.
- To propagate horseradish’s, dig it up, divide and conquer.
